Coming together to help people experiencing homelessness.

Sharing meals, kindness, and human connection—because everybody deserves to be seen and treated with dignity.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Joe Maddon’s Two Burnt Feet is to nourish and connect with people who could use a helping hand.

At Two Burnt Feet, we believe everyone deserves a warm meal, a kind word, and the feeling that they belong. We're here to share food, build connections, and spread a little love to neighbors facing homelessness and hardship.

THE FUTURE WE ENVISION

We believe in a world where nobody gets lost in the shuffle. Where someone without a home is still somebody — seen, cared for, and surrounded by the kind of support that lets them write their own next chapter.

You make a great impact in helping families, Veterans, and individuals who are having the worst day of their lives on the streets, Homeless, and hungry with no place to go. You are setting an example for others to follow.

OUR STORY

It All Started With a Home-Cooked Meal

While coaching the Anaheim Angels, Joe Maddon would ride his bike to the ballpark and regularly cross paths with veterans, families, and folks who had fallen on hard times. He'd stop to hand out supplies, strike up conversations, and wonder what more he could do. He made himself a promise: if he was ever given the platform, he'd use it to help people who needed a little hope, a warm meal, and the reminder that they mattered.

That opportunity came in 2006 when Joe became manager of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and hosted the first Thanksmas. Drawing from his Italian and Polish roots—and believing that good food brings people together—Joe prepared a homemade meal for members of the community experiencing homelessness. But it was never just about the food. It was about sharing a table, honoring dignity, and creating a space where everyone felt welcomed, valued, and loved.

What began in a kitchen became rooted in compassion, gratitude, and the simple idea that we're all connected.
